Las Vegas Firefighters Sell Shirts to Support the Movember Foundation
LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Firefighters are selling t-shirts to raise money for the Movember Foundation, which raises awareness for men’s health issues and supports projects that fight prostate and testicular cancer. Firefighters will wear the shirts on and off duty all month long and grow mustaches to help get the word out in our community.
Movember shirts will be sold within the organization and to the public until Nov. 15 on www.heroic.supply. Both men and women’s t-shirts are available for $20 and a long sleeve style is also available for $25. All proceeds will be donated to the Movember Foundation. Last year, Las Vegas Firefighters donated $5,350 and are hoping to have another successful year.
“We are looking forward helping support the Movember Foundation again,” said Scott Johnson, Las Vegas Firefighters president. “We hope that the community will join our efforts to help those fighting prostate and testicular cancer by purchasing a shirt. We live in a great community that helps one another and we’re happy to sponsor this program to advocate for men’s health and raise money to support those that need it most.”
