On Nov. 12, between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Barclaycard US will hold a special event/press conference - including speakers, a ribbon-cutting and media tours - to mark its notable expansion in the Southern Nevada market. Its expansion into an adjacent 35,000-square-foot building, which will include the hiring of 300 more positions, comes 18 months after Barclaycard opened its doors in the former Zappos building in Henderson. Since opening, Barclaycard has hired 1,000 local employees.

Executives with Barclaycard US, Henderson Councilman John Marz, Economic Development Director for the City of Henderson Barbara Coffee, LVGEA CEO Jonas Peterson, and several local dignitaries and political representatives will be in attendance.

: Barclaycard US has made enormous strides in its economic impact locally as well as lending strong community support for various causes. It has hired and continues to hire locals to fill multiple jobs at its customer contact center. It was recognized as “Economic Development Project of the Year” in Henderson by The City of Henderson and the Henderson Chamber of Commerce during Henderson’s “15th Annual Economic Development and Small Business Awards.” It has tremendously exceeded its hiring goals since opening its doors and has helped many residents and nonprofits.
